If you’ve made it here, chances are you’re a small business owner with a to-do list that never seems to get any shorter.
You love what you do, but if you’re being honest, you’re a bit overwhelmed and struggling to keep up with all the blog writing, emails, and general small business admin on your plate right now.
This is where I come in.
an almond croissant addict (Mokoko’s finest, please and thank you), a pen and paper, list maker kinda gal, a bona fide knitting nerd, and exceptionally amateur sewer (sewist?!)
I live in Bristol with my husband, a snake, and our glorious aquarium that I can take zero credit for – all James’ work there. When I’m not at my laptop, either at the library or one of my favourite Bristol coffee shops, writing blogs and managing socials, you’ll find me at No Frills Knitting, a woolly brilliant knitting shop in Bedminster, Bristol, giving out top top knitting advice to Bristol creatives.
I spent about seven years running my own knitting business, Moloneymakes, alongside a full-time barista job in a Bristol coffee shop, so I know exactly what the small biz juggle feels like. I’ve been there and experienced the major overwhelm and ‘do everything myself’ spiral that ended in MAJOR BURNOUT. Not fun.
These days, I channel all of that experience into helping other small business owners feel less stressed and a bit more in control.
I became self-employed because I wanted my work to mean something. I wanted to continue working in the small biz world with incredible creative businesses I love, helping them avoid the burnout spiral.
I’m not here to take over, but I am here to be an extra pair of hands. I’m here to get that blog written and published, to make sure your email list hears from you, to get your products listed on your website for shoppers to find. I’m here to take a few of your small biz tasks, so you can get back to doing the bits you actually love – even if that means taking Wednesday morning off to go have coffee and cake with your pals or spending Friday afternoon with the kids.
As a professional knitter nerd and amateur sewist, I do work with a lot of craft based businesses, especially in fibre, yarn and knitting industry. However, my aim is to help ANY small biz owner who would like to offload some bits to make their life easier.
Here’s the kind of stuff I can take off your to-do list:
If you think I sound like the right Virtual Assistant to help support you in running your creative business, I’d love to hear about you and what’s been sitting on your to-do list a little too long. I don’t do uncomfortable sales talk *shudder*, nope. We’ll just have a friendly chat about what you need and how I can support you to make running your small biz feel a bit easier.
These days, I channel all of that experience into helping other small business owners feel less stressed and a bit more in control.
I’ve been helping small business owners, like you, reduce their overwhelm and get sh*t done for years.
Now it’s time for you to take your time back, so you have more to give to the parts of business you love the most – or for getting coffee and cake with your pals on a Friday afternoon. You do you!
